If you have seen my video on every (or almost every) alien confrontation found in Insaniquarium, chances are that you know what this thread is about. If not, this is basically where you can talk about your difficulty of dealing aliens...
Source video:
If you ask me what is my least favorite alien battle, Ulysses and Destructor would make an awful combination, it is still my least favorite alien battle despite the absurdly funny "Fourteen Alien Signatures Encountered" joke, mainly because you have to deal with two aliens from the bottom and one makes the other seem more dangerous. What I am talking about is that Destructor doesn't seem bad on paper. In fact, just destroy his missiles, and everything else about him is utterly useless. Ulysses, however, throws two magical orbs which can kill more than just the targeted fish, and if you're not careful, all of the fish in the tank. Not only that, it will be harder to concentrate on five projectiles, and not all of them are easily avoidable. That being said, it's already difficult to deal with them without losing any fish as a result of the lack of concentration. If you don't think it's bad enough, playing in Challenge mode while fighting against these two combined is an absolute chore, a good reason why Tank 4 is usually avoided. With the increase of difficulty, more and more combinations will spawn at once, so you easily get a game over with more than two combinations, and not the way you deserve it. On the other hand, individually, they aren't as tough as Psychosquid...
And for pet saviors...I've barely seen anyone else apart from myself who could finish adventure mode with all 18 pets saved, and that's without the help of an auto-clicker. The closest one on YouTube at least was of just 17 pets out of 18, sacrificing Zorf. So how did I obtain such a perfect score? As you probably expect, it mostly depends on RNG/luck and how fast you react and shoot those lasers at those aliens. If you get Destructor at first or get him twice in a row like how I got him, then you're lucky, because all you have to do is to destroy the missiles and the Mini-Sylvesters, and deal damage only to Cyrax, unless you destroy Destructor on accident or you feel like destroying him so you don't have to deal with more than one alien, and if you get Psychosquid or any tough alien just before Cyrax gets down, use all of your speed to kill the mastermind. Do you have all of the 18 pets? Good. Not fast enough? Just click at a fast rate on your mouse, or if you have a laptop, on your laptop pad as well. It worked for me.
Anyways, what is the hardest or your least favorite alien battle in your opinion, and how many pets have you saved at most?
